AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test)


The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is led by the Indian Air Force. AFCAT is a section for both male and female contenders who wish to join the Indian Air Force for both Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission/Short Service in Ground Duties for both Technical and Non-Technical occupations.

Documents Required for AFCAT Selection Process
The campaigners named for the interview are needed to carry and latterly on, submit the following documents to the academe for verification. campaigners claiming admission under reticent orders should carry the applicable Documents.

All the Documents should be carried in original as well as photostat clones (Failure to carry any of the necessary documents could lead to the disqualification of the seeker).
- Graduation passing certificate or equivalent.
- Certificate of Eligibility for certain categories of Students.
- Category or Caste certificate applicable to SC, ST, OBC, and others.
- Identity and address proof.
- Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 20 years and should not be more than 26 years old.

Disqualification from AFCAT Training
The candidates can also be disqualified from the admission process of the training course and the Academy if any of the following appears to be the case:

Candidates who were previously admitted to an earlier course at AFCAT or the Graduation Cadet Entry Scheme of the AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST but were subsequently removed or turned out of the Academy due to any deficiency or unsuitability will not be considered for readmission.

Candidates who have previously been removed or disqualified from the AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST due to medical reasons or voluntarily left the Academy, but now wish to reapply this year, may be considered for admission again, subject to meeting the required medical and other conditions.
